Joanna Tymkiw

After completing her diploma in culinary arts, Joanna apprenticed and worked in some of Vancouver's top restaurants. Wanting to merge food and media, she began working on the cooking show "Anna & Kristina's Grocery Bags" and was later inspired to work toward her masters in journalism in a UK program. While abroad, an internship at the London-based food magazine, delicious, led to her being an editorial contributor as well as recipe tester and developer. Back in Canada, Joanna has made a number of television appearances, worked as a producer for a cooking show and is currently a regular cooking guest on The Marilyn Denis Show.
